New Video: Rihanna’s Red-Hot ‘GMA’ Performance // @rihanna

Rihanna fans were in for a Loud awakening Wednesday morning. With her newest album blasting into stores yesterday, a long-haired RiRi celebrated by hitting up ABC’s “Good Morning America” for their Fall Concert Series. The crimson-coiffed Bajan performed her hits “What’s My Name?” and “Only Girl (In the World)” with her band, looking sexy in a colorful jacket over lacy high-waisted shorts and a bikini top.

“I love making music and I feel like as a musician, there’s no reason to stop unless you really want to,” she told host Robin Roberts of putting out her fifth album in five years. “There’s no rule that says you have to take a break between albums. We’re here to make music and the fans want music. … It really happened quickly. We did a lot of work in very little time, so it’s exciting.”

Rihanna Turns Down Playboy Offers

On her album release day, Rihanna and her Roc Nation boss Jay-Z arrived at New York City’s Ed Sullivan Theater for a taping of “The Late Show.” The “What’s My Name?” singer turned heads with her long red hair, while a bespectacled Jay opted for a more laid-back, preppy look. Hov will sit down on the couch with David Letterman while Rihanna performs on tonight’s show.

RiRi revealed to Angie Martinez that she’s been offered to pose for Playboy several times, but turned the magazine down. “I got a few offers to do Playboy actually. They want to pay you to be naked on the cover,” she said. “If I’m gonna take my clothes off, it has to be in a classy way and my will, not a check. I wouldn’t take any money to do that.” But she does enjoy walking around nude when she’s in the privacy of her home.

New Music: Nicki Minaj ft Rihanna – ‘Fly’

Nicki Minaj and Rihanna “Fly” above life’s trials and tribulations on their latest collaboration from Nicki Minaj’s debut album Pink Friday, landing November 22. This is their second pairing following “Raining Men” from Rihanna’s Loud.

“I came to win, to fly, to conquer, to thrive/ I came to win, to survive, to prosper, to rise,” sings RiRi over the soaring J.R. Rotem production.

“‘Fly’ is one of my absolute faves. I wanted to work with Rihanna for a long time. I’m very proud of her accomplishments, especially since she was born on an island like me,” said Nicki. “This song is a female empowerment song. But then again, it’s not specific to just women. It speaks about flying, soaring high in the face of every single solitary adversity that comes your way.”
